In a new report on diversity at its workplace, Google claims that the company's workforce saw a definite increase in the number of asian people employed at its offices.
The annual diversity report points out that the company "saw hiring gains for women, Black+ and Latinx+ groups"
The hiring for women rose by 1.9ppts to 33.2% in 2018 globally, and by 4.5ppts to 34.9% in the US. Google says that this is one of the biggest increases for any underrepresented group.
